"Shree Satsang Shiksha Parishad, Gandhinagar", is one of the names of apex of the educational trusts in Gujarat. The foundation stone of the institute was laid down on 18th February, 1978 by the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Shri Babubhai Jashbhai Patel.
Disciplined management along with a spotless reputation are its hallmarks on basis of which it carries out various educational activities throughout the major cities of Gujarat. The Bhavnagar trust has gained fame due to its high standards and efficiency.

Shree Satsang Shiksha Parishad Bhavnagar Campus was founded by Shree Purani Swami Narayan Priyadasji and Shree K. P. Swamiji starting its operations on a small scale of K.G. Quality and Reputation saw his institution grow into a diversified tree with institutions ranging from K.G. to P.G.
The general belief is that he who opens a School closes a prison. With this objective in inculcating virtues in upcoming generation. Shree Satsang Shiksha Parishad started school to impart education keeping the Gurukul tradition and modern requirements in consideration.Gurukul has emerged as one of the leading Educational Institutions in Bhavnagar meeting the requirements of about 13000 students and employing around 500 faculties.
Purpose of Establishment : -
In ancient times, the education was provided by Rishis and Munies. As the time passed, the Ashram based education faded and became almost nil during the time of Lord Shri Swaminarayan and there was a chaos everywhere.
Lord suggested that schools should be setup for imparting good, positive and pious education and students should be taught the Principles of the Shiksha Patri, since education is what makes a full fledged human being from a child.
Hence, under the SATSANG SHIKSHA PARISHAD, GANDHINAGAR the Swaminarayan Gurukul was established at Sardarnagar,Bhavnagar with the following objectives.....
To materialize the principles of welfare of all beings "Sarvjiv Hitavah" the tenet of Lord Swaminarayan.
To provide the students with quality education and teach them good conduct and thoughts and hence make them patriotic and religious.
To combine the principles of spiritualism and worldly things to lead people towards Knowledge, Religion and God.
To establish Gurukul, to impart education to instills discipline and character imparted by calm and pious devoted saints and make the child blossom into a good human being.
Children are educated with the emphasis on becoming polite, self-disciplined, devotee and obedient to parents through learning religious literature.
To propagate the principles of good character and education, Shri Swaminarayan wrote the Shikshapatri to make the human life more meaningful, peaceful and happy.
